the afternoon including a jaunt to the

Arts Division for

paperwork re yet another substitute teaching gig,

bookending work with Carol in the lab. 

Late

lunch,

and

homeward

on

the

205th

day

of

summer,

third

day

in

a

row

of

high

at

97 (two degrees less -- 95 -- in Pleasant Hill...

locally at

80/90-or-beyond),

diverting

for

errands,

and ultimately composing page 9 re Portraits of ___(Some Multiple of 3) Women: XXI. Who Is She?.

October 5 - Across the Horizon

All

summer

long,

and

only

the

second

trip

up

and

over

Donner,

down

to

Truckee

and

beyond

near

Boca,

through

the

sun-

emblazoned

dark-

pinacled

Canyon

towards

Nevada

to

continue

the

string

of

connected day-hikes

from the Pacific Ocean to east of Reno,

now in latter's southern Valley,

in view of Slide Mountain, Mt. Rose, and the

Virginia Range...

just a brief

evening stroll from

Barcello Road,

along

Veterans

Parkway,

to

Thousand Acres Way,

returning on this 204th summer, high again 97 (still a comfortable 84 in Reno -- 147th and 79th  local temp of 80 / 90+)

to research a few items for The Opus Project presents Opus 22 (8pm, Saturday, October 25, Diablo Valley College Music Building, Pleasant Hill, CA)

at UC Davis Library-- having composed page 8 of Portraits of ___(Some Multiple of 3) Women: XXI. Who Is She? earlier in the day...
